WOODROW PTA HAD A WONDERFUL END-OF-YEAR CELEBRATION LAST WEEK. We had a great turnout and were able to honor our PTA Lifetime Achievement Award recipients. We celebrated the amazing work by all the people on this list. The Lifetime Award is based on years of service to our students, staff and campus. My hat is off to all these volunteers who have given us so much over the years.

Woodrow Class of 1966
Woodrow PTA hosted the 2021 Senior Prom last Saturday night at the House of Blues. It was really nice to be able to celebrate our seniors, give them an event and see see them all enjoying their time together. A HUGE shout out to our prom committee for persevering in this tough year and a big thank you to the Woodrow Class of '66 for volunteering at the prom.
As we count down this year we also look forward to next year and a return to normalcy. Look for lists of dates and events for 2021-22 to start being released soon.

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Last week was exceptional. On Wednesday it was great to see our seniors navigate their “on-track” stations. Thursday night our Athletic Booster Club teamed with the Class of 1966 to give out over $72,000 in scholarships to deserving students. Thank you to our PTA for organizing an amazing prom experience. This week freshmen need to be on campus Wednesday for their Biology STAAR EOC test. IB testing will conclude and Advanced Placement exams begin the week of May 24. Please continue to monitor student’s grades, attendance, and testing requirements as we conclude this year. All three are important for keeping students on track. Thank you for partnering with us to make Woodrow the exemplary school for teaching and learning. Read more ...
