INTRODUCING OUR NEW PTA WEBSITE!

We hope you all have had a safe and healthy summer so far!  While everyone was taking a well-deserved break from the new reality of life during a pandemic, the PTA was hard at work preparing for the new school year using a new web platform, Membership Toolkit.

For those of you with students who graduated from Long last year or a few of our feeder pattern elementary schools, this new web platform will be familiar to you.  For those of you new to this system, you will quickly see the benefits of having a website that allows us to post information, send e-mails and manage purchases all in one location!

The first thing we will ask all of our Woodrow families to do is register on the site at woodrowwildcats.org.  It's very easy to do, costs nothing and it automatically registers you to receive our weekly newsletter as well as class-specific correspondence for your student(s).  Once registered, you will also be able to make purchases on our site.  For a complete look at the benefits of our new web platform, please click here.

After registering on our site, we strongly encourage both parents and students to download the Membership Toolkit App on their mobile phones.  Not only will you have the entire PTA Website at your fingertips, you will also be able to receive any important or emergency announcements from the PTA and Administration.  In the current environment, it is now more important than ever that families stay informed on all of the latest information from the school and the district.

We encourage you to take the time to explore our new site and get to know all of the great ways it can help you and your family get the most out of your time at Woodrow.  In the coming weeks we will take the time to highlight some of the favorite features of our site and how this new platform will help ensure our PTA is doing its best to provide support our students, families, teachers and staff.

In these uncertain times we would like our school community to know that the PTA intends to be the same steady source of support that it has always been.  If there is any way that we can help your family or student to grow and thrive during this unprecedented time, please do not hesitate to contact me at president@woodrowpta.org.

Best regards,

Chris Prestridge
President, Woodrow Wilson PTA
