Both Woodrow and JL Long Administrations have worked to compile a clear set of guidelines for our parents and community to use when reporting crime/code violations in and around our schools.
Please refer to these guidelines when determining who to contact when a crime or violation has occurred. Be sure to save numbers on your phone so that authorities can be contacted quickly when needed.
Feel free to forward this to members of our community so that they may also know who to contact when issues arise.
Many thanks to all in the community for their efforts to keep our schools and neighborhoods safe!

First, thank you for being the most committed school community in Dallas ISD. By aligning the talents of the Woodrow staff with your support and additional District resources, we will be able to achieve our mission of maximizing each Wildcat’s social, emotional, and academic growth. While we increase efforts dedicated to safety, we’ll continue to explore how we design a learning experience rooted in a sense of belonging. Feel free to reach out to me, Principal Moran, with suggestions or recommendations. This is hard work during a challenging chapter in our history, and a tremendous responsibility that we take very seriously. It’s a privilege to be on this journey with you all.
