PTA PRESIDENT MESSAGE

Woodrow Nation,

It was an amazing week of Woodrow Homecoming celebrations! The Woodrow Homecoming Festival on Wednesday was a big hit and allowed our kids and families to show their Woodrow school spirit in many different ways. The festival ended with awesome performances by our Woodrow Cheerleaders, Woodrow Sweethearts and our Woodrow Band! It was a perfect way to kick off the homecoming celebrations!

Our Wildcats football team kept the week going with a dominant win over Newman Smith! Our Student Council ran an awesome campaign for our Homecoming Court and announced the court at halftime.

We finished off the week with our Woodrow Homecoming Dance at the FIG Friday night. Students were able to dance the night away in style and celebrate our homecoming with all their friends!

Your Woodrow PTA worked extremely hard in the weeks leading up to homecoming to make sure all our students had a chance to experience and celebrate our school spirit. Our mission was to make it all about the kids and I believe we knocked it out of the park! Our PTA fundraiser continues through the month of October. Please take a moment to become a supporter and receive some great Woodrow swag in return. Also, please remember to join our PTA while you are there. These are great ways to support our amazing PTA board and committees that work so hard for our students and families. Both can be done here: www.woodrowwildcats.org.

GO WOODROW!
