As we close out the school year with our last four weeks, I am encouraged and optimistic about the future for our students and staff. We have worked hard to outreach to all students and staff and make things as normal as possible throughout this pandemic.
Please make sure and register your children for the 2021-22 school year as soon as possible. As things return to normal, we want all families to be prepared and registered so schedules and planning can be in place once we return to campus in August.
As always, we encourage all our families to join the Woodrow PTA or volunteer on a committee to help us continue to make Woodrow an amazing place for our students and staff next year.

WILLIS WINTERS PARK STUDENT SURVEY
A TASK FORCE ORGANIZED BY DISD AND THE DALLAS CITY COUNCIL IS SURVEYING STUDENTS IN GRADES 4-12 THAT ATTEND WOODROW FEEDER PATTERN SCHOOLS ABOUT THEIR PERSPECTIVE ON WILLIS WINTERS PARK. The digital survey is anonymous and will take no more than 5-10 minutes. The goal is to collect as many surveys as possible by the end of May and report back to the board and the council by August. Our intention is that our elected officials can use the students' perspectives as a starting point when considering issues around the park, including safety, accessibility and usability. Please encourage your student to complete the survey.

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
This is an exciting and stressful time. While we are celebrating students at signing events, performances, and banquets, we're also closing out critical items we've been preparing for all year. This upcoming week we have testing for TSI, TELPAS, STAAR, and AP. Because of STAAR testing, Tuesday and Wednesday will be flex days. Make sure your student uses these two days to catch up on work, attend office hours, and prepare for exams. Thank you for partnering with us to make Woodrow the exemplary school for teaching and learning. Read more ...
