The final part of the week is a personal note of appreciation from students and parents. Text, email or submit a note of appreciation to your student's teachers by Friday, May 7. A couple of prompts to get things rolling ...

"I'm grateful for your time and energy when you _______."

"Thanks for your support when I needed help with ______."

"Teachers make a difference in our lives. I'm grateful for  _______."

You can also support Woodrow by stocking our "Culture Cart" with items on the school's wish lists from Amazon and Walmart

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

It’s hard to believe it’s already May. It’s exciting to see more students returning to campus to finish strong. This Wednesday we will host freshmen for Biology and Algebra STAAR support and time with their Link Crew mentors. Also on Wednesdays we’re turning the library into a Senior Center with food and music to make sure each member of the Class of 2021 graduates. Finally, this week is Teacher Appreciation Week. I hope that you’ll take a moment to share a note of gratitude for your student’s teachers. Thank you for partnering with us to make Woodrow the exemplary school for teaching and learning. Read more ...
