STUDENTS WILL TAKE THE ENGLISH I STAAR EOC ON TUESDAY, APRIL 13. Per the Texas Education Agency, this test must be taken on campus and continues to be a graduation requirement. To make the day fun, we're planning a 'game day' theme to celebrate the milestone for our freshmen. Please have them wear their favorite jersey or team shirt so they bring their "A" game. We'll have one more practice session this Saturday, April 10 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

The Children's Health website is great for families that still have questions about the C-19 vaccine. We are in the home stretch and the numbers are staying low, but I do want to start preparing for our return in 2021/22.

We are starting a pilot program here at Woodrow for morning check in. This program was donated to DISD from Children’s Medical and it will be a well check in for ALL staff and students. It will go district wide in the new school year.

DISD'S PARENT ADVOCACY AND STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES IS HOSTING THE FAMILY RESOURCES ON THE GO OR FROG BUS ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 7 AT SKYLINE HIGH SCHOOL. Drive-through with any questions about attendance/truancy, special education, graduation, credit recovery, mental health, counseling services, homeless education services, and the parent portal.
